Fr. Jim Corrigan

Fr. Jim Corrigan

State Chaplain

I was born in a land far away, a long time ago, (Calgary in 1957), the oldest of seven children, six boys and a girl. Raised in a solid Catholic family and attending Catholic schools during my formative years. I spent twenty-four years working in the trades in Fort Saskatchewan. I traveled a rather circuitous and at times challenging route in finally arriving at St. Joseph’s Seminary in August 1999. Like most of us, I took the trial and error route before I finally realized that God was indeed in charge and not me. At a particular point in my life I also realized that God had been walking with me all along, but that He had been patiently waiting for me to ask Him for a little guidance.
