Good morning gentlemen,
It was a pleasure to meet so many of you last evening at the reception at the Museum. I had a chance to speak with many of you about my desire to add material relative to the Canadian Knight’s Catholic Army Huts which were active during WWI and WWII. I discovered how little I had when we were putting together the WWI exhibit, which I hope you had time to enjoy.
I would be interested in collecting pamphlets, cards, booklets, posters, correspondence, etc — anything associated with the KofC efforts during the first and second World Wars and specifically the Catholic Army Huts. If you know of someone who might have some material they would like to share with the Archives, please have them take photos of or scan the material and email me before they mail the material. That will ensure that I do not get duplicate materials. This is very important since my space is limited.
If any of you happen to be in Prescott, Ontario at Fort Wellington on August 19 and 20, be sure to ask for Butler’s Rangers and look for me. My husband and I, portraying good loyalist souls, will be there for the Revolutionary War reenactment. I hope you have an excellent meeting tomorrow and a safe trip home. Thank you very much for your assistance!
